Today McKremie Web Hosting announced that they are offering all US non-profit organizations free web hosting. A few web host have started to do this and here are some of the reasons from McKremie:
“We are pleased to give back to the organizations and schools that are the backbone to our society. To us, there is nothing more rewarding than contributing to these worthy causes,” said Stuart McHenry, president of McKremie, LLC
The nice thing about McKremie is that they don’t put non-profits of their smallest plan, they actually host non-profits on their more expensive plan. This is unheard of in the web hosting world. Most of the time if you get free hosting for your organization it’s on a really small plan with low disk space. McKremie is giving away business class web hosting to qualifying non-profits and public schools.
